Have studied in government or aided primary schools consecutively in class 1 to 8 and completed class 8 and the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009 (RTE Act, 2009) and the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Rules, 2012 Under the provision of free education to the children of 6 to 14 years of age from weaker sections and underprivileged groups in independent schools to the extent of 25% of the class size and have completed continuous studies from class-1 to class-8 in self-supporting schools and also the knowledge aptitude test of the parents of both types of students. Students whose income is below the prescribed income limit for admission under Section 12(1)(c) of the RTE Act, 2009 will be admitted on the basis of merit in independent secondary schools affiliated to all boards operating in the State in Class-9 and education up to Class-12.
