Download PMKISAN GoI Apk: To increase the income of small and marginal farmers (SMFs), the Government of India created a new Central Sector Scheme called “Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi” (PM-KISAN). It was launched in February 2019. The scheme is being implemented under the Ministry of Agriculture, Co-operation & Farmers Welfare by the Department of Agriculture of all States and Union Territories Governments. The Scheme provides for direct payment of Rs. In three equal payments of Rs.6000 per annum, Rs.6000 per annum will be transferred in three equal amounts. 2000 will be transferred to the bank accounts of eligible landholding family members every four months.
The Government is taking many steps to reach all PM-KISAN eligible beneficiaries. Public interfaces are now available to self-register, check the payment status, and correct the name according to Aadhaar, which is a mandatory requirement for the scheme. The PM-KISAN mobile application, designed and developed by the National Informatics Centre, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (Govt of India), is being launched to expand its reach.
