Ahead of Diwali, there is good news for vidhyasahayak candidates.
The government has taken an important decision to recruit 2600 teaching assistants.
The recruitment process of 2600 teaching assistants will start from today.
Education Minister Jitu Vaghani has tweeted that one thousand teaching assistants will be recruited for class 1 to 5 while 1600 teaching assistants will be recruited for class 6 to 8.
In this recruitment, 750 will be recruited for mathematics-science, 250 for other language subjects, and 600 teaching assistants will be recruited for social science subjects.
As per earlier announcement, widow women candidates will get 5 percent additional marks.
Importantly, an important decision was taken by the state education department regarding the recruitment of teaching assistants on 4th October.
In which 5 percent benefit in merit has been announced for widow sisters in teaching assistant recruitment.
According to which, the state government has decided to give additional 5% marks in legislative recruitment to widows who have passed TET-1, TET-2.
50% of the marks obtained in the TET examination and 50% of the marks obtained in the educational qualification are taken into consideration to prepare the merit of the Legislative Assistant.
In the total merit thus prepared, an additional 5 percent marks will be added to the merit of the widowed candidate.

This decision has been taken by the state government for the purpose of giving job opportunity to the widow sisters, which was announced as it will be implemented from the next legislative assistant recruitment, according to which 5 percent benefit has been given to the widow women candidates after the recruitment of 2600 academic assistants has been announced.
